Meet your host
DEANNA HAMBALEK
Deanna is the Chapter Host for The Waiting Room Colorado Springs. She has been navigating infertility since 2019, when she was diagnosed with PCOS. Her journey has included multiple cycles of letrozole, three IUIs, and now her first IVF cycle. After years of trying and taking time to process the road they had been on, she and her husband are now waiting for transfer day with hope for what comes next.
Deanna is also a stepmom, a role that has been both incredibly rewarding and challenging throughout her infertility journey. Watching her stepchildren become excited about their IVF journey has been one of the sweetest parts of this season.
For the first few years of her journey, Deanna often felt alone and wishes she had a space like The Waiting Room then. She chose to become a host so she could offer others the support, understanding, and encouragement she once needed herself. More than anything, she wants every woman who walks into this space to know she is not alone.
